Hong Kong Egg Waffle
Alex makes some wonderful egg shaped waffles! AKA Puff Waffle!www.nothingtonom.comHong Kong Egg Waffles:5 eggs, separated3/4 cup milk1 TBL vanilla6 TBL butter, melted3/4 cup sugar, separated1 1/4 cup flour1 1/2 tsp. baking powderpinch of salt add half the sugar to whites, and whip till medium peaks. Add other half of sugar to yolks, then add butter, milk vanilla. add flour and baking powder making sure no lumps have sneaked in. Fold in whites. Place 3/4 cup fulls of batter into medium hot HKEW pan. Flip and cook 1 minute or so, then flip over and cook about 1 more minute. Take off and let set. Break apart and eat!
